For players

Playing in a round robin your organizer runs with PaddleScramble? You don't need the app. The game page and the season page work in your phone's web browser. The last video explains the flames you may see on your organizer's screen. Each video is a minute or so, with no sound needed.

Follow tonight's games on your phone

Your organizer shares a link or shows a QR code. Tap the link, or point your phone's camera at the code.
No link? Go to live.paddlescramble.com and type the 5-character game code.
Now playing shows the games on court right now. Find your name; the number on the left is the court.
Tap Schedule for every round: the court, who plays whom, and who sits out. Winners are in green.
Tap Standings to see who is leading: your points for each round (a "b" means you sit out). Swipe sideways for total, average and wins-losses.
No need to refresh. New scores show up on their own, and Live changes to Final when play ends.
The page stays up for 7 days. If your club keeps a season, the night's games also stay on its season page.

When will we be done?

Once the first 4 rounds are fully scored, tonight's game page shows a card: Rounds should finish about and a time.
It's an estimate from tonight's actual pace: how long the rounds so far have taken.
A round only counts once every game in it has a score. Playoffs are not included.
It updates on its own as each round finishes, so there's no need to refresh.
Your organizer sees the same time in the app, in the clock next to Home. Tapping it shows how many rounds are left.
It doesn't appear in Open Play Scramble or in sessions played without scores.

Your season standings

Scan the QR code your organizer shows at the end of a session, or tap the link they share. Once the night is over, the game page links there too.
Players are ranked by win percentage, then wins, then points scored. W-L is games won and lost, the squares are the last 5 matches (oldest first), and a crown with a number shows nights won.
Tap any name to see that player's record: their latest games, and how they do with every partner and against every opponent.
At the courts, your organizer's app shows each pair's record together under their names. For example, [3-0] means 3 wins and 0 losses as partners, counting your group's earlier sessions, plus tonight's rounds once the organizer moves on to the next one. A pair that has never played together shows no record.
Arrows show places moved since the session before. A player gets a rank once they have played enough games: three for each session the club has played, up to ten. Until then, a dash shows.
Further down: fun stats and recent sessions. Tap a session to see every game and score that night.
Tip: on an iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, to keep your club's standings one tap away.

What's a Fire Battle?

On the organizer's screen, a flame next to a name means that player has won 3 games in a row this session. A crown marks tonight's leader.
When a game has a player with a flame on each team, that court becomes a Fire Battle: a FIRE BATTLE tag, a ring of fire around the card and small flames along the top.
Nothing to turn on. It lights up by itself whenever two players on a streak end up on opposite teams, and the card stays on fire after the game is scored.
Flames and the crown change when the organizer moves to the next round (and in the last round, as soon as all its games are scored), so a player who just lost keeps the flame until then.
No Fire Battles in playoff games, in Team Scramble, or in sessions played without scores. The game page doesn't show flames.
In a recurring group, your season page counts the Fire Battles you've won and lost, and marks each one in your latest matches.
